Following on from last month’s interview in TVR Sprint magazine, the TVR Car Club is very pleased to announce that Mr Al Melling of Melling Consultancy Design, designer of the AJP8, Speed 12 and Speed 6 engines, has kindly agreed to present a seminar to TVRCC members and TVR enthusiasts entitled:

 

“The AJP and Speed Six Engines”.

 

The seminar will take place in the Apollo Suite at Rockingham Motor Speedway on Friday 3rd August.

The programme will be as follows:

ajp0930    Arrive. Tea/coffee

1000    Introduction and History

1015    Presentation 1.  The AJP.  Its design,

            inception and why is it so successful.

1115    Coffee

1130    Questions

1230    Buffet lunch

1330    Presentation 2.  The Speed Six.  Its   

            design, inception and problems.

1500    Tea

1515    Questions

1630    Closing remarks

The charge for this event (which is at cost price) to include all refreshments will be £21 per head.  TVRCC members can benefit from a Club subsidised rate of £19 per head.

Regrettably telephone bookings cannot be accepted.  Space is strictly limited to a maximum of 200 places.  First come first served.  Bookings close 5pm Friday 13 July 2007.

 

This event is open to all TVR enthusiasts, not just TVR Car Club members.

 

If you are attending this event at Rockingham, why not make a weekend of it and stay for Diamond Rock, the biggest ever gathering of TVRs organised by the TVR Car Club to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of Trevcar Motors by Trevor Wilkinson in Beverley Grove, Blackpool, which became the TVR that we know today.
