Two years in the making this is one very special TVR. Designed to carry on where the T400r's left off, based on a TVR Chassis and a Sagaris body, but running a Corvette V8 engine in place of the speed 6 and a rear mounted sequential gearbox.
Built by *Racesport Sailsbury* and given that little bit of luck you need in endurance racing, it should be in with a fighting chance of a great result. It certainly raised the Interest of the Rollcentre Team out testing their 24hr Mosler. Silverstone was the first time out for the car.
The testing all went to plan with the team not needing to put a single spanner on the car all day. The initial times very very close to BGT times with only a basic setup on the car so there should be plenty more to come which is very encouraging. Richard Stanton looked a very happy man as he climbed from the car after his first few runs.
The team now have a few weeks in which to finalize the car, and if this first test was anything to go by the results should be Fantastic. The Car will be driven in the 24hr race by Richard Stanton Richard hay Micheal Caine M. Forsten
If you want to come along and support the car, TVR's return to 24hr racing the TVRCC have arranged a special £10 ticket deal for the weekend
There will also be four more Sagaris Cars, the Tuscan Challenge car AJP powered examples built By GTF and Andy Holdens car. These will be racing in the Dutch Super Car Support Races. The drivers for these cars are Tim Hood & Dave Porter Steve Glynn & Nathan Freeke Fred Tonge & Dean Cook Andy Holden & Darren Dowling
