Neil Garner Motorsport, Kemble Business Park, Wiltshire
Over 125 TVR’s turned up to the TVRCC Wiltshire Region organised Neil Garner Open Day on Easter Saturday. There was plenty to see and do on the day including; an Autoglym sponsored Concours De Elegance Competition won by Aaron Moyce and his superb Griffith 500. The Loudest Car Competition was won by Glen Brooks and his Guest Display Car a Lamborghini Diablo, but only by a very very small margin from Matt Strange and his LOUD Chimaera.
There were plenty of prizes to be won in the raffle with the top one a voucher for £350 worth of servicing from Neil Garner Performance Engineering plus a host of donations from the many traders who attended - thanks to you all for your support.
There was a live demonstration of a Typical Britcar Pit Stop on Neil Garners Britcar Championship leading Mosler. This took the form of timed trial runs to allow those who entered to monitor the times and then guess the fastest time Neil and his crew could achieve on the 3 final timed Competition runs. The prize for this went to Essex member Jon (Green Meanie) Andrews. He and his guest have won a visit to a Britcar Meeting with Neil Garner Motorsport and spend the day in the Paddock and pits and may even assist Neil with the Mosler if he is desperate. Drive it Jon, no he is not that desperate.
All in all a great day and one to put in your diary for Easter Saturday 2013. Look out for the full report in Sprint Magazine.
