Double first for Hood at Silverstone (Posted on 12/05/2013)
Tim Hood, driving a Sagaris V8, scored maximum points in the opening rounds of this year's Dunlop TVR European Challenge at Silverstone with two firsts and two fastest laps. In round one, he was closely followed home by Mike Saunders in the Cerbera just 1.7 seconds adrift, whilst in round two Darren Dowling, also piloting a Sagaris V8, took second place 14 seconds behind. Despite the weather last Saturday, sufficient members did brave the snows that hit the Midlands to ensure that the AGM could go ahead. We are pleased to report that all resolutions were passed with an overwhelming majority, and so it is with great pleasure that we welcome Angela Perkins to her new role as National Events Manager and bid farewell to Pietro who retires after nearly 20 years on the Committee. We were also pleased to present the annual club awards, including the Trevor Wilkinson Trophy to Ian Renwick for hs stunning 3000M. full story

TVRCC AGM Saturday 23 March (Posted on 22/03/2013)
In light of the forecast inclement weather conditions forecast overnight into tomorrow for the West Midlands area and the possibly difficult driving conditions, we have had to consider all options for the AGM. Having taken advice from local forecasters and the Gaydon staff themselves, where under an inch is forecast overnight, thawing from 0900 onwards, coupled with the difficulty of rescheduling, we have decided that on balance, our best option is to proceed with the AGM at the designated time of 12 midday. We look forward to seeing as many members as possible at the meeting but understand that some may decide to avoid a difficult journey. Please be sure to check the weather forecasts before making the trip. Although it's very cold out at the moment we can assure all members that can come along for the AGM will receive a very warm welcome! full story

Club members can vote in person by attending the TVRCC AGM on Saturday, 23rd March 2013 at 12.00 noon at the Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon, CV35 0BJ. Alternatively if you are unable to attend then you can vote using the form available in the members forum. full story

Trevor Wilkinson Trophy 2012 (Posted on 02/03/2013)
The Trevor Wilkinson Trophy was inaugurated and hand made by Trevor himself in 1997 to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Trevcar Motors and is awarded annually to the Club member who, in the opinion of the judges, has completed the most comprehensive restoration of a TVR in the previous 12 months. There are just seven days remaining for entries to be submitted for the 2012 award. full story
