Le Mans 24 Hour 2002
is this the World's best spectator motoring race?
Its not shown in these photos but the weather was unbelievable
- it was at least 30 degrees plus for the whole week.
Many TVR owners made the journey down through France
to Le Mans arriving over the week of 10th June onwards.
Most people take the opportunity of being in the midst
of the action and camp - TVRs were in force on Houx,
Houx Annexe (with the TVRCC roadshow trailer and TVR2)
and camping Bleu. The atmosphere on the campsites was
fantastic and the veterans were obvious - usually the
paddling pools, fridges (there is mains power available),
kitchens, televisions!! and industrial BBQs give them
away.
The course of events goes something like this...
(and apologies for slow page - loads of photos!)
Thursday: stock up with bier at local supermarkets, watch practice,

The famous bottle wall, created at great risk to life, limb and liver!
Le

but a great overview.
