The
New TVR T350C unveiled at the Motorshow 2002
TVR didn't disappoint with the unveiling of
the new T350C models at the launch of the 2002 Motor
Show. The car, a derivative of the Tamora was a very
impressive site. As Ben Samuelson unveiled the new silver
coloured
model on a raised platform Peter Wheeler drove a Chameleon Green
coloured model along side the stand, allowing us all to appreciate
the exhaust note!
The visual improvements, as with any TVR, are best viewed in the
flesh especially the radical new rear they have produced for this
model. Production should start within a few weeks and orders where
being taken even before the car had been unveiled. In the near future
they will also be producing a Targa top version for all those customers
who need the wind in their hair.
Also shown where the two new Tuscan R models,
now renamed the T400R and the T440R. The 400
and the
440 are related to the bhp output.
On the stand was the development T400R and the final customer version
painted in a "Carbon Fibre Brown" which certainly caught
the eye especially as it had the re-designed rear end which now
houses an impressive pair of exhaust pipes.
The interior has been changed slightly with a
carbon surround on the dash pod and the arrival
of a stereo.
Alongside the T400R was
the new 6 speed sequential gearbox for the "R" model.
TVR also have the Red Rose version of the Cerbera, several new looking
Tamoras with the new headlight units in the front, and of course
the fabulous Speed 12. If you can make the Show do make sure you
drop by!
