Two weeks ago, the wedges descended on Ettington Chase for their annual gathering and were met with probably the best weekend of weather that we have seen yet this year.  Oh what a difference those two weeks made!  as you can see from the photos below, Saturday was Wet Wet Wet and challenged ROAR 08 for the title of wettest TVR event of 2008.

However, it did not deter the hairy-chested Griff drivers who turned out in their hundreds (well 108 we think was the official count) for a fantastic weekend of Griffs, Griffs and more Griffs.

We are pleased to report that the charity auction raised the splendid sum of £1000 for the event's chosen charity, the Fire Brigade's Victims of Fire.  We would like to thank all those who gave generously to the auction both with donated prizes and those with shallow pockets who gave so much for the items being auctioned.  Thanks also to the oragnisers, Paul & Andrea and all of their supporters.
