Well what do you expect in England in June?  Sunshine?  The comment made by one of our members on the discussion forums was that he couldn't understand why his wipers weren't working until he realised that the rain was so heavy that it was on the inside of the windscreen.  It still didn't stop over 120 TVRs braving the weather for a trip to deepest Cheshire for ROAR 08 organsied by Angus and Carmen MacDougall to whom we owe our gratitude.

There were a fair few traders who including the Rolling road that proved popular and Ride Drive who took a number of members out into the local countryside for assessed drives.  The hotel's Mexican night was well subscribed whilst the charity auction was both hilarious and at the same time the organisers were honoured by members' generosity.  In total, some £1207 was raised for the Francis House chidrens hospice. However, is a drop in the ocean for them as they have to raise £100K per month just to pay for special care nurses' salaries. Amazing!!
