When looking for a venue for this year's S Club Heaven, it was suggested that perhaps we could join in with the crowds that congregate on the National Kit Car Show at Newark Showground.

It seems that members liked this idea as the field started to fill with the sound of TVRs on Saturday until eventually on Sunday, over 100 cars were present.  This meant that the TVR Car Club were by far and away the most prolific club at Newark and hence were awarded the prize from Kit Car Show organisers for Best Attended Club.  Fortunately the weather stayed dry even if the planned Club marquee for Sunday was abandoned in the high winds!

We also had a few awards of our own, namely:

Kart Champ - Julian
Noisiest V6 - Steve J in C7 VRS
Noisiest V8 - TinksV8S in K400 VBS
Best S1 or 1.5 - F201 HEO
Best S2 - G475 FUY
Best S3 or 4 - L705 ARU
Best V8S - TinksV8S in K400 VBS

The Club also raised a total of £432.38 in aid of Leukaemia Care at the event.  grateful thanks must go to our organisers: Ian, Dave, Dale, Chris & Mark and also thanks to all those members who came.
