Sunday the 8th September saw 80 cars take to the track
for the second annual North Yorkshire TVR Car Club "charity track day".

For
the first time in history a TVR has finished a 24
hour race. Martin
Short, Rob Barff and Simon Pullan took the Very Plast
Belgium-Rollcentre Racing TVR Cerbera GT Speed Six
safely home in the Spa 24 Hours on 3-4 August 2002.
Starting from the 13th row on Saturday they took
the checkered flag on Sunday afternoon 16.00pm after
an exciting and eventful race.

Report and pictures from the massive Mania event at Duxford on the 11th
August (from Mike Good, Cambridge Region)
Over 1000 people attended with nearly 500 TVRs. A rainy start didn't dampen
the enthusiasm but when the sun came out it just got better and better.
Worries if the runway would be dry enough for the highlight sprint proved
unfounded and just about every one of the TVRs there managed to get a sprint
(or several) in. |

Le Mans 24hr 2002 reports
and pictures. Huge numbers of TVRs and TVRCC members
attended staying on Houx, Houx Annexe and Bleu campsites
to name a few. The new TVRCC roadshow trailer was also
there with TVR Blue 2 and a East Sussex region definately
gets the award for the most impressive 'bottle
wall' including of course the TVR logo! |
