Deputy RO co-ordinator - Brian Cooper
I first took an interest in TVRs in the Mid Eighties and purchased my first TVR a Taimar in 1987 .
I have had quite a few TVRs through the years starting with that Taimar then a new 2.8 S series another Taimar then a V8 S series and ending up with a Pre Cat Griffith . I am an active member of the TVRCC Forums and still hold a Huge passion for everything TVR.
The Regional Organisers are the strong backbone of the Club working to ensure the enjoyment of the Membership. In a supporting rather than managing capacity, the ROCo role is about circulating ideas that work, helping resolve problems and ensuring that new Regional Organisers get the welcome and the information they need to become effective.
On occasion this will also be assisting potential Regional Organisers make up their minds if the role is for them and ensuring that they volunteer for this duty with their eyes open and can then make an informed decision.
I get involved in collating and sometimes editing the monthly regional reports generated by the Regional Organisers. Sometimes this will involve enforcing word limits and chasing deadlines but I hope I will be able to communicate the need for the controls we have in place.
My key objective is to assist the Regional Organisers and the committee in maintaining the TVRCC as one of the premier car clubs in the country.
