Monday 4th September 2017, sees the welcome return of a TVRCC trackday at Cadwell Park. More details to follow soon.
If you weren't able to attend the C&CS magazine Classic Car show at the NEC then perhaps you might like to take a 'Virtual Tour' of the TVRCC stand. Click on the image to load the model and navigate around the exhibits by clicking on the circles on the ground and looking around in 360° by dragging your mouse or finger across the screen. Some limited information on the cars is available by clicking on the small Blue and While 'Targets'.
The Saffron Walden car show has been running for a number of years now as a charity event in support of 'Help for Heroes'. It always manages to attract a large number of cars ranging from the classic 1930s all the way up to the modern day.
The Duxford car show this year was probably one of the biggest non-TVR specific events that was attended by members of the South Eastern regions this year. Organised by Tony (RO for East Midlands) just under 60 TVRs turned up and virtually overwhelmed every other club there.
Sherburn Aero Club
On 25th June 2011 we had a multi region event with our friends from Tees Valley, South Yorkshire and North Yorkshire joining the West Yorkshire crew for our 2nd year of helping with the Candlelighters Charity Day at Sherburn Aero Club near Selby, Yorkshire.
Candlelighters is a Yorkshire based charity formed and run by parents of children who are suffering from or have had cancer.
Although a small local show by some standards, this event has always managed to attract a good range of modern and classic cars to come and show. The event this year was blessed with some great weather and over twenty TVRs from various regions local to the Royston area showing. There were various competitions ranging throughout the day, from men pulling Landrovers around, to model spitfires and jet-fighters dog fighting it out in the skies above. Generally, a very enjoyable way to spend a Sunday afternoon - and I thoroughly recommend the burgers!
