![]() After a disappointing qualifying which placed all three TVRs towards the back of the grid, a very wet start to the race followed which meant that many drivers took unplanned excursions into Silverstone's many gravel traps and much of the race was undertaken behind the safety car. Leading TVR home was the #95 Racesport Peninsula car driven by Richard Stanton, Piers Johnson and Dany Eagling in P24 overall and 7th in GT2 class with 135 laps, 6 laps behind the class winning Sebah Automotive Porsche 996 GT3 RSR. Their fastest lap was 2:16.689.
Second TVR in was the #82 Team LNT T400R of Patrick Pearce, Marc Hynes and Lawrence Tomlinson who finished in P33, 11th in GT2 class, 21 laps down on the Racesports car but with a faster lap time of 2:13.995. The second LNT car of Jonny Kane and Warren Hughes retired after 75 laps. For most of the race, it was lead by the Creation DBA Judd, driven by Nicolas Minassian and former Tuscan/Speed 12 driver and Car Club member Jamie Campbell-Walter. JCW relinquished the lead only in the last hour to eventual winners Allan McNish and Stephane Ortelli in their ORECA Audi. The final podium place was taken by another man well know to the TVRCC, former Tuscan and Cerbera racer Martin Short who has now had a podium finish in all three races this season and sits in second place in the championship in his Rollcentre Racing Dallara Judd, just one point behind the leaders Jean-Christophe Boullion and Emmanuel Collard's Pescarolo Sport Judd.
