Specialist Insurance for TVR Car Club Members
TVRs are special cars and their owners are rather special too! Members need special insurance. The TVRCC Committee carry out regular market updates/reviews and contact many specialist brokers and insurers to see what they offer. Companies are asked for details of their policies, coverage and to provide sample quotes covering the whole range of TVRs, drivers, locations and use.
No one company is ever able to “stand-out” amongst the wide range of likely requirements for our members. As a result there are seven companies shown below whom we suggest members might wish contact when they are looking to insure (or renew cover for) their pride and joy. Some of them focus more towards the classic TVRs while others focus more on “daily driver” or track day use. All offer agreed values, limited mileage discounts and European cover. Some include track day cover for approved events and multi-car policies. Remember that price is not the only factor in choosing any insurer!
All seven companies have set up dedicated sections to deal with current Club members who must quote their membership number to obtain the discount and access to the other benefits of the policy. With such a range of TVRs and members' requirements the final decision must always be YOURS, but we believe contacting these companies is the place to start!
