Marketing Communications Role
The key to this role is to encourage as many people as possible to enjoy the ownership of a TVR along with the benefits of membership of the TVR Car Club.
As such, the PR Manager must work closely with the Marketing Manager to promote the advantages of club membership: that
One of the key elements is to ensure that the club enjoys the maximum exposure within the public eye through the motoring press, club and third party events, and other activities. To that end the PR Manager maintains very close links with the editors from all of the major national motoring magazines in order to get our members' car into road tests/photoshoots. The PR Manager also produces the TVRCC submission for the Classic & Sports Car Annual Club Awards in which we have either won, or taken a runners up position, in at least one category in every year from 2004 to 2017 including Best Club (twice), Best Magazine (twice) and Best Website (also twice).

Profile

I was first introduced to TVR’s aged 17 when a member of the cricket club I played for turned up in a beautiful S2 in British Racing Green.
I thought the car was amazing, but it wasn't until 14 years later that I bought my first Chimaera 450.
It was actually my wife’s fault, not that I needed much persuading, after a roof down dual carriageway blast and then a rumble around Henley, she told me we have to buy this car. (Excellent idea I thought)
I’ve been hooked ever since, and still own a Chimaera 450, which I’ve had for 20 years.
I love the V8 rumble and our dog loves the fresh air and view from the back shelf.
I use the TVR all year and usually at least twice a week, so you may see me driving around Oxfordshire.
I’m looking forward to working closely with the whole team, especially the Marketing and Sales and Event Managers.
I’m interested in broadening awareness of the marque and ensuring that the Club remains highly respected and well supported. This will involve promoting the Club via social media, automotive publications, and events at a national and local level.
