Welcome to the long awaited TVRs, Ties and Spies, we hope that you will enjoy the activities we have planned for this weekend. A lot of thought and effort has gone into organising these by a small team of volunteers. Without their efforts this event would not be taking place.

Insurance Cover At MillbrookIn all cases it is the responsibility of the car owner/policy holder to contact their insurer to ensure that the policy they hold does indeed cover the Millbrook driving day. Even if your policy has Trackday cover do not assume it covers you automatically, it is usually a requirement of the policy that you notify the insurer in advance.
The event is not a track day or MSA approved, helmets are not required. There is no timing and speed limits are strictly applied. It is a driving experience on private roads. Speed is limited to 100mph on the High Speed Bowl and 55mph on the Alpine Course; that may sound slow but it’s very steep and twisty in places. |

Briefings and Escorted Laps
THE SAFETY BRIEFINGS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL DRIVERS & PASSENGERS.
If you do not attend this you will not be issued with your driver and passenger wristbands, without these you will not be permitted access to the circuits by the Millbrook Marshals. Wristbands for drivers & passengers will only be issued at the end of each driver briefing once your completed indemnity forms and driving licence have been reviewed. Please ensure you have completed the forms before the briefing to save time for everyone. |
Due to the large number of people we have had to split the briefings into groups. This has been done by your booking number and is in the same order in which you booked your attendance. The briefings will start at 9:15, take place approximately every 45 minutes and will be held in the left-hand dome of the Concept 1 building.
Please listen out for the announcements when each briefing will start, as if we can reduce the time taken for briefings to increase your driving time then we will. Once you have attended your briefing everyone must complete escorted laps of the Alpine Hill Route and High Speed Bowl behind a Millbrook Follow-Me Car. If your car has multiple drivers then it is sufficient to observe the two circuits as a passenger. |
After everyone has completed their first session, you will be able to go out again as many times as you like during Open Driving.
Open Driving
We are limited to fifty cars per time on each circuit and Millbrook will control the release of cars from the Steering Pad.
Cars out on circuit will be tracked by counting them out and back in. During Open Driving please limit yourselves to two laps of either course before returning to the steering pad out of courtesy for your fellow club members, so everyone gets their opportunity to enjoy the venue. Once back at the Steering Pad you may elect to go straight back out although you may have to queue. Our use of the Millbrook facilities will be monitored by Millbrook’s own marshals around the site; they will be watching your driving and have the authority to revoke your driving privileges or remove you completely from the site. Please do not try to leave Millbrook without returning to the Steering Pad to arrange your exit. We all must be escorted back to the main entrance by a Millbrook Follow-Me Car. There will be a marshal at the Steering Pad exit. Please speak to this marshal if you need to leave the site at any time and they will provide a Millbrook Follow-Me Car for you. Last entrance to the circuits will be at 5pm and the event finishes at 6pm. |
CateringCatering facilities will be located outside the Concept 1 building, or you may bring a picnic.
Goody Bags and Merchandise
Goody bags can be collected from the Office staff in the reception area of the Concept 1 building at any time during the day, don’t forget to bring your ticket with you.
We will not be holding a traditional Concours event on Saturday, but a select group of judges will be watching and we have a few unusual trophies to be awarded on Saturday evening. The TVRCC Promotional Vehicle will be on site throughout the day, staffed by our lovely Office team. They will be able to offer a selection of merchandise bearing the new Club logo for your perusal. If the exact style or size you need is not available, you can place an order for drop shipping with them. Photography and Filming
