Gang on the Green 2007

There are just 11 days remaining before bookings close for Gang on the Green 2007 and the last few remaining places are filling up fast. This is the biggest TVR gathering in this 60th anniversary year in the southern half of the country and if the 2003 event is anything to go by, it is an event not to be missed. It's also the start of the summer's main anniversary celebrations with S Club, Wedgefest, Diamond Rock, Griff Growl, Chimfest and BNG all following on consecutive weekends over the next two months.

Back in 2003, the Bristol Region of the TVR Car Club held a very successful event in Wells called 'Gang on the Green'. It gave TVR owners an opportunity to park their cars in a glorious Somerset setting. We were thrilled to be given permission to park our cars on the wonderful Cathedral Green and Bishop's Palace, giving owners and visitors to Wells a unique photographic and picnic opportunity.Since then the TVRCC has been inundated with requests to hold the event again, and with 2007 being the 60th anniversary of TVR, this year seems the perfect time to do it all again.

Gang on the Green is a fantastic opportunity to see practically every model of TVR ever made in the flesh in a fabulous location and setting, so we are keen to make this 2007 event just as successful. We have permission to hold the event on the Cathedral Green in Wells and hopefully use the beautiful Bishop's Palace location once again. We are also planning a popular cherished line-up of TVRs through the ages. Starting with the early models right up to the present day monsters, the Sagaris and Typhon, this promises to be a staggering line-up.

So what are the plans for 2007: 
Friday 13th July - informal BBQ in Cheddar with TVRCC Hants (please contact Hants RO, Paul Woodburn for details). Saturday 14th July - daytime event including a guided drive around Somerset and track session at Haynes, evening party with live music in Wells Town Hall and fabulous raffle with great prizes. 
Sunday 15th July - Gang on the Green main event with parking on the Cathedral Green, Bishop�s Palace, cherished car line-up and much, much more.
