The TVR Car Club is pleased to announce it has chosen Avon Tyres as its preferred tyre brand.

This particular tyre has a combination of performance and safety, and is 'A' rated for wet grip - the highest EU label grade. They also come with a speed rating of 'Y' on selected sizes for speeds of up to 186mph...

Established in the UK in 1885, Avon Tyres has more than a century of experience in the tyre industry. It manufactures tyres for a wide variety of applications, from ultra-high performance cars, through motorcycles, all the way to off-roaders and everything in between.

Over the years, many iconic brands have selected Avon's tyres as original equipment, including TVR. Avon has supplied tyres to the sports car manufacturer for more than half a century, having been awarded an original equipment contract back in 1959. The relationship has spanned several models, continuing through to 2002 with the TVR Tamora. Now it is set to extend to the forthcoming Griffith, which will use the the ultra-high performance Avon ZZ5 tyre.

Building on this history with the marque, Avon is proud to have been chosen as the TVR Car Club's preferred tyre brand. As part of the collaboration, Avon's long standing relationship with TVR will be celebrated through a number of joint initiatives through 2020 and beyond.
