TVRCC backs Pub2Pub expedition

The Pub2Pub Expedition, is a very British blend of elegance and eccentricity – a 30,000 mile overland journey from the northernmost bar on the planet, to the southernmost. From the Arctic to the end of the world, crossing oceans, continents and cultures, and travelling by TVR, yacht and ship. All undertaken with a style and panache which harks back to that glorious age when travel was an art form.

Every journey begins with a single step, as the saying goes. And this is your opportunity to share in the first steps of the Pub2Pub Expedition, by joining the grand send-off...  

For, at 11am on Sunday the 2nd July, at the Two Bridges Hotel on Dartmoor, the V8 of the expedition's star car will rumble into life. Moments later, the other gathered classic cars will roar into action, and Dartmoor will reverberate to the offbeat burble of dozens of incredible motors. And then, led by the Pub2Pub Expedition vehicles, as the press looks on and social media channels go into overdrive, a convoy will snake out of the grounds of the Two Bridges Hotel and onto the incredible Dartmoor lanes which lead, indirectly, to the ends of the earth.

The expedition will be underway.  
And the world of offbeat automotive adventure will never be the same again.

Finer details are still to follow, but we're planning to get as many interesting cars as possible - from both TVR and other marques - along on Sunday morning, and wed love it if you could be there too. The day will start in a 'Cars&Coffee' style manner, with a chance to view the gathered metal in a leisurely manner, before the cars form up into a convoy and proceed across Dartmoor, to a pub on the NE edge of the moor, where lunch shall be had, after which the convoy will dissolve as we make a dash for Dover.

If you want to make a weekend of it, many of the folk connected with the expedition will be spending the Saturday evening nearby, in Princetown, so feel free to come and join. And if you're lacking an unusual vehicle, fret not - feel free to pop along and see us off anyway.

As mentioned earlier, this launch event is a work in progress, so watch this space for updates, as we have a few amazing additions in the pipeline, which we'll be announcing soon.

Also, bear in mind that the event will be filmed for an upcoming feature, to be broadcast on DriveTribe - Clarkson, Hammond and May's new website. If you'd like to attend but you'd rather your vehicle avoided the cameras, please let us know beforehand.
