As last year the action will centre ‘Blackpool Corner’ as the hub of traders with a direct connection to the old manufacturing plant and the Marque. There will be something for everyone with for example traders who worked in the original factory in Blackpool in the Body and Trim shops, TVR engine specialists, original TVR Alarm experts, new chassis manufacturers and lots more. This year following members requests, traders have been asked to bring smaller items for visitors to purchase on the day, so don’t forget to bring along plenty of cash. The rolling road will be back again enabling owners to see how much effect that winter tinkering had on the power at the wheels. As before, there will be the loudest Car Competition, an Auction of TVR related offerings, plus ‘money can’t buy’ items. Not to be forgotten there will be as usual the Autoglym Mystery Concours Competition. New for this year there will be workshop sessions. These sessions hosted by engineers foremost in their field and lasting approximately 20 minutes will cover: Outriggers, the Speed Six Engine, Front Headlight Conversions etc. Representatives from the Dunlop TVR European Challenge and the TVRCC Speed Championship are invited, so there will be experienced competition drivers on hand to brief you on how you can enter your car into a sport that is as one of them always says, ‘the most enjoyable way to waste a day’ There are new and more professional caters this time, to feed the hungry driver (not forgetting the passenger), plus the Wiltshire members ladies will be on hand selling cakes and raffle tickets with proceeds including the auction going to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Last year we raised over £2k
With over 250 TVR’s expected on the day this season closer promises to continue the tradition of one of those events not to be missed. Contact Wiltshire RO David Border for more details ro@tvrcc-wiltshire.co.uk Comments are closed.
